Endpoint Commands
Syncware communicates with an endpoint, it sends a command to retrieve or send data to an endpoint (like Shopify or Quickbooks). The following is a brief definition of what these commands do when you see them in Syncware.
Get/Import Commands: Get commands indicate that the endpoint is retrieving an order, product, inventory, etc. For example, if GetOrders runs on an endpoint like Faire, all the orders from Faire that are ready to be retrieved would be pulled into Syncware.
Upload Commands: Sends information from one endpoint to the other. This may sound like the Get command, but the important difference is that this pushes the information to another endpoint to update it. For example, UploadInventory takes the inventory and changes the inventory count from another endpoint. So Faire pulls the data from Syncware to update the count on Faire.
Export Commands: Similar to the upload commands, this will send data to an endpoint. This is typically used to send orders to an ERP, or accounting package (Quickbooks, NetSuite, AIMS, etc.) This could be sales orders, invoices, purchase orders, etc.
