How to Connect Salesforce to Syncware
- Log into your Salesforce Account and Go to the “Setup“.
- In Setup > Apps > App Manager
Create a New Connected App
- Set the Details below, and make sure to use the SalesForce User email is in the Contact Email field.
- Please make sure you select the below scopes:
- Manage user data via APIs (API)
- Manage user data via Web browsers (web)
- Perform requests at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)
- Access unique user identifiers (openid)
- Please make sure you select the below scopes:
- After saving the above, Go To Manage View.
- In Manage > Set the Profile using the Manage Profiles button, it should be the same as the User Profile.
- Once saved, please grab the Consumer id and Secret from the screen below and “mange Consumer Details“.
- Sometimes it will ask for the Verification Code, which comes from the Admin Email or the User Email.
- Once verified, please copy the Key and Secret
Then please send the information over to the Onboarding Team.
