Integrating Faire

Faire is an online wholesale marketplace that integrates with Syncware. The following workflows are support for this integration:

  • Orders/Shipments
  • Inventory
  • Products
  • Payment Information

To integrate Faire with your Syncware account, you'll need to

  1. Add Faire
  2. Connect your Faire account
  3. Map your workflows
  4. Configure your settings

Add Faire

  1. From the navigation menu, select Integrations.
  2. On the Integrations page, click ADD INTEGRATION.

  4. You will be presented with the applicable fees for the integration. To proceed, click REVIEW.
  5. You will be presented with a summary of the fees that will be billed to you. If you approve, click APPROVE.

Result

Faire Marketplace will be added to your Syncware account as an integration.


Connect your Faire account

  1. From the navigation menu, select Integrations.
  2. On the Integrations page, Faire will be displayed as an integration with action buttons to the right, click Configure.
  3. On the Configure Integration page, click Connect. This will take you to your Faire account where you will sign in and complete the instructions listed.

Result

Your Faire integration will be connected to Syncware.


Map your workflows

Before you begin, ensure you've reviewed the instructional video for building your workflow with Sync Builder.

  1. From the navigation menu, select Integrations > Sync Builder.
  2. On the Sync Builder page, Faire will be displayed in the Integrations and Actions menu to the left. Use the arrow to display the Faire available actions.

While you can customize your workflow in many ways, the following Faire actions are available for use:

  1. From the menu, click and drag the actions that you would like to add to the workspace on the right.
  2. Once you have added the actions for your workflow, click SAVE.

Result

Your Faire actions are ready to be configured and verified.


Configure your settings

  1. From the navigation menu select Integrations.
  2. Click the Configure button to the right of your Faire integration.
  3. On the Configure Integration page, select the integration fields that you would like configured and input the required information.

While you can configure and customize your integration in many ways, our customers use the following fields most often:

Field Name Field Guide Suggestion
Block Orders by Status Enter the order statuses from Faire that you do not want imported from Faire. Options include: DELIVERED, IN_TRANSIT, PRE_TRANSIT, CANCELED, PROCESSING, BACKORDERED, PENDING_RETAILER_CONFIRMATION, NEW. Multiple statuses are allowed, please separate with a comma.
Enable Testers Toggle "ON" if you use testers in your Faire Store.
Auto Approve Orders Toggle "ON" so all Faire orders will be auto-approved.
Commission as Discount Toggle "ON" so the Faire order commission will be added as a discount on the order.
Commission as SKU Toggle "ON" so the Faire order commission will be added as a SKU or Line Item during order import.
Expected Ship Days Enter the number of business days that you'd like to use.
Match Ship-to and Bill-to Addresses Toggle "ON" so the individual customer information comes through to match existing customers.
Remove PO Prefix Toggle "ON" so you can remove the prefix of BO_ from your orders.
Backorders Toggle “ON” to support backorder functionality. Once a partial shipment is made, the remaining items will be sent to Faire as an open order with a status of Backorder, ready to be shipped when they become available.
Backorder Availability Window Enter the number of calendar days that you’d like to set from the backorder date that a shipment can be expected. NOTE: If you have “Auto Cancel Backorders” toggled on, leave this field blank.
Auto Cancel Backorders Toggle “ON” to support automatic cancels of backorders in Faire. After shipping one or more lines, the remaining items will be sent to Faire as an open order with a status of Backorder, which will then be automatically cancelled.
  1. Click SAVE in the top right corner of the page once complete.

Result

Your Faire settings have been configured.
